In this era of multi-tasking I wouldn't be surprised if networks started to produce hybrid shows like this. Maybe we can limit the number of Law & Order shows that way. Just jam 'em all in one show. Call it "Law & Order: Enough Already."
Or how about "CSI: Yeah- We Get The Idea"?
