So much done with the house. So much left to do.
Except for the 2 larger projects (the garage (which can't be started until Spring) and the basement), everything I'm working on now is non-essential polishing:
* I'm close to being done with the stairwell with only some touch-up painting and replacing the carpet left.
* I need 2 shelves (1 glass and 1 wood) to finish the shelving units I've made. Should have those this week.
* Can't finish the front patio as it's below freezing (and sunny and beautiful out) but I wasn't planning on that until Spring/Summer.
* I've started painting the mud room. Once finished, I need to install the antique curtain rods and buy curtains.
* I'm 3 cabinet handles and a hose for the new showerhead away from completing the bathroom.
* I should have the screens for the picture windows done by next weekend. Although I still need to purchase and install the vertical blinds.
* I'm looking for a replacement door for the office that's more "me". Something with glass panels.
* The bike is in no rush to be repainted. Can't use it until the weather's at least 40 degrees anyway.
* Which leaves the kitchen to be totally repainted.
Last weekend I decided to only work 2 hours on the house on any workday. Otherwise I come home from working 8-9 hours, labor on the house for 6-7 hours, eat if I remember, don't pay enough attention to Fred, and crash for a few hours. It was too much considering my deadline (barring those projects to start in Spring) is way out on March 18th.
I think I can do it.
I think I can, I think I can.
