Remodel Update 12.5.10

The next 2 weeks are INSANE at work with me working mucho OT (yay- $$$!!!) so not much more will get done until after then.


Lingo:
Up here, the room leading to the back door is called a "mud room". And a living room is known as a "4 seasons room".
And now you know.

* still need to replace the carpet on the stairs. I've ripped out the old stuff.
* got all the shelving and finished with all 3 units I made from leftover window frames and treatments. 1 is a wall unit and fell off the ladder while I was putting the anchors in. Made a nice crack along the bottom but still works.
* done painting the mud room. I need to install the antique curtain rods and buy curtains.
* have to borrow some wrenches to install the new showerhead but finished with the hardware.
* I forgot to purchase more mesh so only finished 1 of the screens for the picture windows. I still need to purchase and install the vertical blinds.
* still I'm looking for a replacement door for the office. Difficult to find the size I need with glass panels.
* bike's in no rush to be repainted. Can't use it until the weather's at least 40 degrees anyway.
* the kitchen needs to be totally repainted.


There's still all the Springtime repairs (+ the cellar).
