Next Saturday, Me Hearties

I'll be traveling next week as Saturday the 19th marks a special event. Well, 2 special events actually.

First, it is my Best Friend's wedding for which I am the Best Man.

Second is that September 19th is the National Talk Like A Pirate Day. No idea how this got started and I don't care. Simply that anyone would bother to make such a nonsensical & whimsical idea "official" delights me.


Unfortunately, I did mention the fact of the 2 occurrences to the Groom and was forced to promise that I would not "go all pirate-y" during my speech.
